Jonathan Blacher, DMD, MSD
Dr. Blacher is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science before attending dental school in Glendale, Arizona at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. His research during dental school on mandibular block anesthesia has been published in the Journal of Endodontics.
After completing his DMD program, Dr. Blacher accepted an Endodontic residency position at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. While at UConn, Dr. Blacher earned his Endodontic Certificate, as well as his Master’s degree in Dental Science. During his 3-year advanced specialty training in endodontics, Dr. Blacher’s research in residency is published in the Journal of Dental Education.
Dr. Blacher is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Blacher specializes in non-surgical root canal procedures and retreatments, as well as various emergency procedures aimed at relieving pain and saving patients’ natural dentition. Dr. Blacher and his wife Christina met in dental school and she is a general dentist and Invisalign faculty member in Frisco, TX. They have a baby boy, Jack, and a chocolate lab, Olive. Dr. Blacher enjoys traveling, playing golf, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
